A Discussion about Harshness Amongst the Salafees - The muhaddith of this era, Imaam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee (d.1420H) debates and answers the age old assumption that has plagued the Salafees throughout our times. It is the accusation that the Salafees are too harsh in da'wah! Read the discussion to see how a true Scholar of Islaam answers this doubt and puts it rest once and for all.

The Ruling Concerning Praying in Pants
- Based upon the authentic hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) about praying in a sirwaal (baggy pants currently worn in Syria, Lebanon and Turkey), the noble Scholar, Imaam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee clarifies the ruling on praying in modern-day pants.

The Ruling Concerning Participation in Parliamentary Elections
- The muhaddith of our times, Imaam al-Albaanee thoroughly defeats the misguided notion held by some Muslims that participating in democratic elections is the methodology the Muslims must adopt to attain victory.  He also clarifies the misgiving that the parliamentary process has any resemblance to the shooraa in Islaam.  Lastly, he clarifies that elections and voting as means do not have any basis within any madhhab from amongst the madhaahib of Islaam and that they are pure concoctions of the disbelievers.

The Place of the Imaam When Two are Praying - A short research on the issue of the where the Imaam stands for Prayer when only two people are praying (i.e. the Imaam and the follower).  The proofs from the Sunnah indicate that they stand together, without the Imaam being about half a step in front of the follower, as is commonly thought by many today.

Shaykh Saalih aalush-Shaykh on Comparing al-Qardaawee and al-Ghazaalee with Ibn Hajr and an-Nawawee - The Minister of Islaamic Affairs for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is asked why he declares Yoosuf al-Qardaawee, 'Umar at-Tilmisaanee and Muhammad al-Ghazaalee innovators, opposes them, backbites them and refrains from mentioning their good qualities, but he does not criticize the likes of al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr (d.852H) and Imaam an-Nawawee (d.676H), even though they had errors.

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen on Working with the Islaamic Parties - The noble Scholar, Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen is asked if it is from wisdom to work with the parties that ascribe themselves to Islaam in order to confront the Secularists and Communists, or is it from wisdom to not work with such Islaamic parties and completely abandon political work. Though the answer was given years ago, we find it highly appropriate in light of the recent calls to participate in the electoral process and to co-operate with the people of innovation!

Shaykh Rabee' Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee on the Islaamic University of al-Madeenah - The Imaam of al-Jarh wa Ta'deel speaks a just word about the Islaamic University, referring to it as a 'fortress of Islaam' and clarifies the issue of Hizbees who have attempted to infiltrate into this noble institute of learning.  The Shaykh's words serve as a timely consolation to those who have heard rumours intended to destroy the reputation of this noble institute!

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan on the Statements of Muhammad Suroor - The noble Scholar is asked about the statements of Muhammad Suroor Zaynul-'Aabideen, "The books of 'aqeedah are not suitable for our times," and, "If the people of Loot ('alayhis-salaam) had said 'Laa ilaaha illallaah', it would not have benefited them as long as they persisted upon their disobedience." After clarifying the misguidance of these statements and their speaker, the Shaykh then proceeds to praise the refutation upon Muhammad Suroor by the noble Scholar, Shaykh Muhammad Amaan al-Jaamee.
